Local auction house with excellent service
I have bought about a dozen items from MBA over past 10 years and it has always been a good experience.

MBA was great. UPS not so.
The shipper, UPS, did HUGE OVERKILL on the packaging for a simple piece of paper. You would have thought they were shipping a porcelain doll or china dishes. Very unhappy with the amount of money they charged me for DIMENSIONAL/VOLUMETRIC weight. I have had DHL shipments from Japan that were cheaper than that UPS Store.

Well Run Auction House
I was very pleased with my recent purchase from an auction, run by MBA Seattle Auction House. The photos and description in the listing were accurate, and the auction progressed at a nice pace. I used the shipping option provided by Live Auctioneers, and I was very pleased when my item shipped to me quickly, and was expertly packed. Excellent auction house
A great experience in every way dealing with MBA auction house. They always have a wide range of high-quality items, and their descriptions are accurate. I contacted them with a couple of questions, and they answered comprehensively and quickly. Michael is really knowledgable about art and the market. Previewing the auction and picking up our item afterwards was really easy and pleasant.
