Purchased a pair of Alvars. Called the next day to say that I would be in the city visiting family that weekend and could I pick them up there? Immediately responded yes, and made arrangements to meet on the upper west side. I was traveling with my father who moves a little slower with age. She suggested a reroute and met her at a bus stop there next to a subway stop that would take us back downtown. In addition to her consideration of my dad, what a wonderful conversationalist and engaged my father as well. I will sum it up by saying that as we boarded the train, my father said she was so delightful she made me want to buy art. This is my second time with Kensington Estate auctions and I can say with certainty the best to deal with of all of the LiveAuctioneers auction houses! Thank you, Kensington Estate Auctions!

As a collector of First Nations art, when I see a full sized totem pole (Yes, really) I "jump" at the chance of bidding on it. Luckily I have a shipper that has handled my purchases before, so I just had to have Kensington Estate "liaise" with them to get the beauty to me. Janise was a true gem. Highly recommend! She was both protective of her seller and solicitous of me, the buyer. Pretty much all you could ask for in an auction house, especially as an absentee bidder!
