This is a classic Hermes silk carre featuring the celebrated Grand Apparat motif designed by Jacques Eudel, first introduced in 1962. The intricate equestrian-themed design showcases horses in ceremonial harnesses and ornate saddles set within decorative golden frames and rope-work borders. This particular colorway features a cream central field with a wide navy blue border, accented by a bold yellow inner frame and detailed illustrations in shades of gold, royal blue, and gray. The scarf features the signature hand-rolled edges. Markings include the Grand Apparat title, Hermes - Paris printed along the bottom edge, the Jacques Eudel signature, and the Hermes copyright mark.
