Description

The cast bronze Buddha figure standing with both hands raised. The figure wears a simple robe falling at each side, the face with a calm, smiling expression, surmounted by a golden, textured headpiece. The right foot contains an extension for mounting, along with a separate, unattached base. Provenance: Early Santa Fe, Canyon Road gallerist and textile artist collection; Alice Kagawa Parrot (b. 1929 d. 2009). Ht. 14 in.
