Historically used for communication between the ship's bridge and the engine room to signal navigation directions like "Slow" or "Full Ahead".
Features a double-sided dial with a lever that rings an internal bell when moved.
The faceplate indicates various speeds and direction settings including AHEAD, STERN, STOP, FULL, HALF, and SLOW.
Measures 40" Hall with a base diameter of 13"
