An exceptional antique French three-tier centerpiece (epergne) composed of Baccarat crystal bowls and trumpet vase mounted in an elaborate gilt bronze frame, dating to approximately circa 1900.
The centerpiece features three graduated Baccarat crystal elements in a warm amber-to-clear shaded crystal, each molded with elegant spiral fluting that radiates from the center. The upper section forms a tall trumpet vase, rising above two scalloped crystal bowls designed for floral arrangements, fruit, or decorative display.
The crystal elements are supported by an ornate gilt bronze (ormolu) structure richly decorated with scrolling Rococo motifs, pierced gallery work, and figural mounts. Dramatic dragon or griffin-form handles flank the lower bowl, while additional sculptural details and scrolling supports enhance the luxurious design. The base stands on four finely cast acanthus feet.
The underside of the crystal bowl is molded “BACCARAT” and “DEPOSE”, confirming manufacture by the renowned Baccarat crystal works of France.
Pieces of this scale and complexity were produced as luxury dining table centerpieces for grand interiors, reflecting the opulence of Belle Époque French decorative arts.

Condition: Very good antique condition with light surface wear, minor scratches, and age-related patina to the gilt bronze mounts; no major chips or cracks observed in the crystal.
