Indian camel bone chess set, carved and painted 32 piece set depicting two Rajasthani armies in shades of red and green representing two armies of Rajasthan in red and green colors; the pawns are carved as foot soldiers, the rooks are fighters seated on camels, the knights are on horseback, and the bishops are warriors carried by elephants. The kings and queens are represented by the symbolic howdah on an elephant's back. Red King shows moderate amount of paint wear. Other pieces show minor paint wear. 6 1/4"H x 5"W (one king measured)
