Color lithograph titled “Flying Colors ’76,” created in celebration of the 1976 United States Bicentennial and associated with Braniff Airways’ Bicentennial aircraft project. Abstract composition of red, white, and blue flowing forms with stars, emblematic of Calder’s late graphic style. Signed Calder in the plate at lower right. Housed in a brushed aluminum Nielsen frame under glass. Includes a printed informational paper affixed to the reverse.
