Roseville Pottery "Persian" Jardiniere & Pedestal

Description

Roseville Pottery Company, United States. Art pottery glazed earthenware "Persian" creamware jardiniere planter and pedestal, ca. 1916. Depicting Art Deco floral motifs against white ground, executed in yellow, pink, orange, and green glazes.
Height: 40 in x diameter: 14 in.

Condition

There is deep crazing along the interior of the jardiniere and to the pedestal. There are several repaired cracks to the planter. Along the rim of the pedestal, there are some areas of flaking and losses to the glaze, the largest measuring approximately 1 1/4 inch in length. Wear to the rims.
