Condition
Good, with light surface scratches and minor dings/dents. Please examine the provided photos to thoroughly evaluate each piece. The watch was running prior to auction. All watches are sold as is, regardless of condition and or functionality. If there is no mention of box and papers in the description, then none are present. If there is no mention of extra links, then none are included. All information known to the auction house has been provided in the description.
The watch case exhibits typical signs of wear consistent with age and use. The serial number between the lugs is partially worn; however, the first five digits appear to read 41777. The final digit is difficult to discern due to wear but does resemble a 4. Please note that this area is particularly difficult to photograph clearly. The dial exhibits a tropical appearance, presenting with a chocolate-toned coloration. We are not making any guarantees regarding the originality of the dial finish. It is possible that the dial has been relumed at some point, though this cannot be confirmed. Additionally, we cannot guarantee whether the crystal is original to the watch or a later replacement. The bracelet clasp bears the date code Z8, indicating production in August 1997. As such, the bracelet is not original to the watch and represents a later addition. This condition report is provided as a courtesy opinion only and should not be considered a definitive statement. Prospective bidders are encouraged to review all photographs carefully and satisfy themselves as to the condition and originality of the watch prior to bidding.
