Antique Chinoiserie Gilt Wooden Corner Chair

Description

English, antique Victorian chinoiserie gilt corner chair in the Chinese taste featuring a spindle gallery back forming a right angle corner configuration. Raised on bamboo form gilt legs joined by stretchers with a seat cushion upholstered in floral patterned fabric. Approximate seat height 16 inches. Provenance: retains a Christie's sale tag and barcode label noted as property from The Collection of Peggy and David Rockefeller.

Dimensions: 30 X 23 X 23 in.

Condition: Good overall condition with age-related wear to the gilt surface and surface wear to the upholstery.
