Antique liturgical chasuble religious fragment in the late 15th - early 16th century, executed in Italian velvet with metal and silk embroidery. The composition features a crucifix with the bleeding Christ on the cross, a chalice above, and additional angelic figural and symbolic motifs. There are no apparent makers marks. The textile is mounted on cloth matting and presented under glass in a wood frame. Approximate sight size 44" x 23". Provenance Ortolani family collection, Rome and Montevideo.

Condition: Good to fair overall antique condition with typical age-related toning and surface wear, including visible fraying at the trim. The chasuble is laid unevenly and has not been examined outside of the frame. The frame exhibits normal storage wear along the edges and corners consistent with handling and age.
